“This natural law, being as old as mankind and dictated by God himself, is of course superior in obligation to any other. It is binding over all the globe, in all countries, and at all times: no human laws are of any validity, if contrary to this; and such of them as are valid derive all their force, and all their authority, from this original.
— William Blackstone, Commentaries on the Law of England (1765)
Those who are pushing homosexual pretend “marriage” are fighting against God and nature. A battle they are sure to lose, one way or another, sooner or later. The only question for decent Americans is whether or not they will allow themselves to be dragged along into the destruction that is sure to follow these abominable acts.
Good quotes, maybe people will come to their senses, a 100 years after we leave this earth. Who knows. Homosexuality was common in the Roman and Greek empires.
Excellent quote! Harvard Law School (back when a Harvard degree actually MEANT something), used to require incoming students to be familiar with Blackstone’s Commentaries prior to commencing their legal education. It was accepted that human laws were never to countermand Natural Law. Then, the termites of Progressivism started gnawing away, with disastrous results....
Blackstone’s statement on “natural law” is no less then the assertion that God is relevant and essential to a moral, ethical and enduring human society. It is the very thing, also, that Progressives adamantly oppose. Ultimately, it is a battle of two opposite ideas: God is God vs. Man is god!!
