On the far right, reactions to America's march toward civil marriage equality for same-sex couples are often – there's no gentle way to say this – far out. U.S. Senator and GOP presidential wannabe Ted Cruz this week accused the Supreme Court of 'judicial activism' for...choosing not to act. Peter LaBarbera, who has turned his apparent inability to stop worrying about homosexuality into a career, commanded his followers in AFTAH – Americans for Truth About (guess) – to commit “civil disobedience on a massive scale.” But as same-sex marriage bans tumble from coast to coast, no histrionics can top those cited by the 9th Circuit Court ruling that invalidated the bans in Nevada and Idaho. It seems Idaho Republican Gov. Butch Otter's breathtaking name is downright mundane compared to his lurid fantasies about marriage equality. The ruling notes that Otter “states, in conclusory fashion, that allowing same-sex marriages will lead opposite-sex couples to abuse alcohol and drugs, engage in extramarital affairs, take on demanding work schedules, and participate in time-consuming hobbies. We seriously doubt that allowing committed same-sex couples...

My biggest opposition to homosexuality is that the children forced to play a role in these unions are required to suppress what feels right to them and become a sort of mascot for the gay movement. I can’t imagine having to deny something so basic as wanting a mother when my two “fathers” (who don’t even know how to be men) are telling me I am so fortunate to be a part of their “family”. There is a child in my kids’ school in that exact situation.
Accounts I have read that are written by adult children who were raised by homosexuals express pain and anger at having been forced to endure this and they blatantly call it child abuse.

I do remember having lunch in some hipster, trendy area that was nice and had a good vibe.
But overall, no thanks.
The convention center and hotels are connected by sky bridges so you don’t have to walk outside.
If you DO walk outside (and this is Market and 12th, supposedly “good”), there are lots of scammers and beggars, cars cruising with ultra-loud bass, people sitting on walls with vacant, sullen, or hostile stares, lots of loud yelling (muthafucka this, muthafucka that).
Not a good location for a convention, IMO. Even the whores all look strung out.
And this is one of America’s great cities? Wow!
When the left gets angry, they consider it a normal reaction.
When the right gets angry, the left calls it “freaking out”.
This is about anger at the corruption of society, religion (eventually), and marriage itself.
But to the left, it’s all about demonizing the opposition.
