Our Government is Godless in every way.....the only reason they have not completely destroyed us is so far God continues to show us mercy....we don’t deserve it!
...”homosexuality will not just bring judgement upon our country; homosexuality IS the judgement”.....
So is the Government we have now....it’s what the people wanted just as when Israel demanded a King “like the other nations”....this nation demanded theirs....voted in by the majority now of blacks, mexicans and muslims.
I really don’t have much hope for this next election but pray to God He gives us Cruz to lead this nation back to a nation under the God of the Bible.
Your suggestion would work, until a private religious organisation that recognises gay marriage does so. There are liberal denominations that already do. So at that point, do states chose which private religious organisations are “valid”? I’m not arguing, but with thousands married now, I don’t see a way of getting what many are calling for. You can’t get toothpaste back into the tube. Maybe we should simply do all we can to make our marriages stronger.
I stand corrected about Ginsberg. Oh man back in the day when smoking a doobie was a big deal. Now the POTUS does a “little blow” and no big deal.
All that said, Kennedy was his third choice nonetheless.
The state simply stops licensing and recording marriages. There is no need to determine what institution is valid since there is nothing to record.
A liberal institution could “marry” three goats and a toaster and it would have no effect on anything. A Catholic priest could marry a man and a woman and, similarly, there would be no license obtained and no recorded marriage.
The phony argument over what constitutes a marriage would be taken out of the political realm. The IRS would have to find other means of micromanaging the lives of the people in that state. Corporations would have to come up with their own rules, such as “the covered entity must be human” or “the goat must have had the same address as you for at least six months”.
I do not understand why my wife and I (now in our 11th year) had to get permission from the State of _____ to marry. It’s indistinguishable from the feudal state, in which the lord/lady of an estate permitted envasseled property to marry.
Getting conservatives to fight over “gay marriage” has been a very successful trick by the left. It gets conservatives to sanctify the state while taking something away from them and making us look like prigs.
The courts have been a vanguard for the socialist revolution since 1938. One governor and one legislative body have the power to bring the marriage dictatorship down like Samson.
I honestly don’t understand how ONE judge can overturn laws that have been passed by voting Americans and their state representatives. If the judge can do this, they can basically do anything. Can they enforce it? Hire only clerks that will uphold the voice of the people. What can they possibly do? Absolutely nothing. The legislation is clearly against the people for their own selfish desires, how much money have these judges received from rich queers? How much pressure has been applied? This is beyond ridiculous, and if a judge can do this and we let them get away with it then they can simply say we are nullifying second amendment rights, turn in your guns or you will be jailed. Resistance will be met with death. Yep, lets go get the legislators that allowed this to happen to get a bunch of states to ratify a constitutional amendment. Nope, nope, nope.
Sounds very live and let live, I like it. That being said, the nanny staters on both sides will never go for it.
Perhaps, but it just seems as if we all (speaking in general) are just rolling over for all this crap
impeach the judges are signs could read, remember the heat that John Roberts took with his healthcare vote, I am not reading the same stuff on a much more serious topic
We rolled over for abortion as well, where is the Christian coalition etc
Perhaps we are in the very last days
So is the Government we have now....its what the people wanted just as when Israel demanded a King like the other nations....
Completely agree...
I do pray that we get a Godly man as president. But the president is not king, and congress could still be very anti-Christ, and thwart his leadership.
Then there are the states, many of which are completely lost and they are wallowing in their pig pen, and demanding more slop, and handouts, and crap. The president would not have much effect on them.
Then there are the people, most are anti-Christ. With the majority voting in the government that we have now, they would still have major influence in thwarting the leadership of one Godly man.
But, God can do anything. So, yes, let’s get the Godly man in as president, as see how God uses him. Make it clear to God that we want Him as our leader again, that we want Christ back in America, and we “we want to humble ourselves, seek Your face, turn from our wicked ways; then please oh God hear from heaven, and forgive our sin, and heal our land.” (paraphrase from 2 Chronicles 7:14) A strong Godly man, proclaiming Gods goodness, mercy, and justice, may start to persuade the un-Godly anti-Christ back to Him.
Also work on the states and the people. Our churches and pastors needs to be proclaiming Gods word and explaining it His judgment on this nation as it is happening now. Also, proclaim Christ salvation and good news. Be saved, sins forgiven, go forth in Christ and follow Him. Lead this country out of the pits and back to where it was as a shining city upon a hill.

Dredd Scott v. Sandiford
Actually it was Dred Scott v. Sandford.
