Sorry if that offends you. But I won't frequent establishments that pass on the costs of ObamaCare to me.

It doesn't offed ME (I don't work for tips), but that's not what you posted. You clearly stated that you would stiff the waitress as retribution for the owner's disclosure.

Common Sense 101:

Don't try and charge me for something I did not intend to buy or pay for if you don't post it up front and center before I order. If you do, I don't pay for it. If that means the wait staff gets stiffed, so be it.

IF the wait person doesn't want to get stiffed for that, they will either make sure the owner understands that they will no longer work there because of their ill-advised policy or they will quit.

What's worse, the wait staff doesn't even get their base pay because I did not eat there, or they at least get their base pay.

I should modify what I said before, I will reduce my tip by the amount of money I'm being charged for their Insurance.
