No history here that I’m aware of. He just didn’t like what I posted. No hard feelings either. I’m used to it from visiting the religion forum on rare occasions.
It's time to start working on developing our own version of a truly conservative UKIP.
I avoid that forum as much as I can.....too much hatred and anger.
I would suggest that it's not just those who've been here long enough to 'remember', but also those, such as I, that came here for like reasons and, for whatever reason, suffer interminable abuse for being GOP counter-culture.
I would also phrase the latter as shrill emotional flaming.
I doubt I'm alone, but sometimes I just avoid participating because I'm neither in the mood nor have the energy to fight simply because I have a Conservative opinion and DESPISE the GOP (that includes GW; I got flamed for that just the other day).
Thanks, Jim, for everything you do.
My idea of a Christian leader would be Ted Cruz.
+1
"No RINOs!"
only up until the last Republican left is a RINO and then they yell:
"Hold your nose and vote for the RINO. At least he's not a Democrat."
Expect the same thing in the next election cycle if Cruz or similar doesn't win the nomination.
It's time to let the Republicans know that they no longer represent us. The Republican Party put Roberts where he is, and I think they're pretty much happy with the results.
Confirmed.
I’m in for the fight!
I think it's time for a real third party alternative, and not the libertarian pedophile acceptors either. A real conservative minded party that puts up principled candidates who won't compromise to feel 'liked' by the media.
The GOP has whined for election cycle after election cycle that a third party is giving in blah blah blah and what do we get? Morality decided by the homo-sympathizers on the Supreme Court. Liberal legislation anyway.
A party that stands for a Free Republic perhaps?
I think the time has come.
As for the “nose-holders”, they might as well resolve themselves to the fact they are not going to be happy with me in November, or ever again, for that matter. I shall vote known Conservative only for the rest of my days. I have no qualms leaving any spot on the ballot blank.
I read you. I can like a guy as a person, too (perhaps even GW under different circumstances but...not), yet I can also separate the 2 (unlike others, it seems).
Here’s an idea: No more Libertarians giving elections away to Democrats by splitting the GOP vote!
[ My idea of a Christian leader would be Ted Cruz. ]
Agreed, a squishy Big Government Huckabee may be a christian, but he he is a squishy christian who wants to use Big Government to further his Goals and will sell out the people to the Leviathan for the sake of the “Public Good”.
What was it that someone said about the best intentions resulting in the worst failures...
Yup. :-)
We knew about Soda-my-ear, and Kagan and the disgusting GOPe just voted them in saying “the prez has the right to nominate whomever he wants”. patewwy!!
Dems nearly revolt nationwide with a conservative like Bork. Dems always stick together. GOP always rolls over and/or reaches across the isle. sick, just sick.
So what do we do? NOT vote for a pubbie when we know the dem to replace him/her is so very much worse? Stay home is not an option.
