It’s time to start firing cops and their supervisors and their supervisors supervisors and revoking all their pension rights. Maybe this kind of police misappropriation of public power and public trust will someday be diminished.

But I strongly believe that the key is to disconnect the evil doers and their incompetent supervisors and their incompetent supervisors supervisors from the gravy train of public largess. Nothing will get their attention like the mass revocation of pension plan status.

"... Laurens deputies got a non-attorney deputy magistrate to sign off on a search warrant..."

Apparently, this raid was conducted by the Laurens County Sheriff's Office, so the Laurens County Sheriff is responsible for this atrocity. As County Sheriff is an elected office, due to this incident one would hope this sheriff will never be re-elected, but, then "a people deserve the government they have," so it's up to the people of Laurens County to fire this man.
