Adding more oddity to the Israel National News article is it says Reuters reported this.
“Thomas A. Duncan, who became ill with Ebola after arriving from West Africa in Dallas two weeks ago, succumbed to the virus today (Sunday), reports Reuters.”

So if Reuters reported this, they sure pulled it because they are among those reporting who say he is critical.
Maybe Israel National News heard about the death in Uganda from Marburg, the staff worker was confused and went ahead and said Thomas Duncan. It certainly would be a strange error to make.
