...His behavior indicates that he was indeed ignorant of his condition....

Duncan is a muslim biological warfare vector. His mission was/is to spread disease.

A passport does not get you entry to the US from West Africa. You need a visa.

This guy had a visa. Liberia has a high rate of people who overstay their visas. You have to wonder what kind of judgement is being used to issue visas to 40 year old single, unemployed men from Liberia.

I appreciate your analysis and in a different context I might tend to agree with you.

However I doubt that AQ is spending a lot of time on this one. Their covert operator in the White House is doing this all by himself. He does not need any help from AQ.

Who issued this guy a visa?

Who is allowing travelers from West Africa entry into the US?

The solution is even simpler, revoke the 13,500 visa to the Ebola countries and don’t issue any more. Then it doesn’t matter what circuitous route they take, they won’t be allowed in this country.

I beleive that there is more evidence that the guy knew he had ebola,

There is no evidence that he had any symptoms on the way to the US. Also he was still in denial last Sunday when his stepdaughter forced him to go back to the hospital. Speaking of her, she was not in denial, she made the paramedics go back to the ambulance to get their gloves and masks. After Duncan was at the hospital in isolation she came back and disinfected the apartment. Probably saved the lives of the three others there (Troh, the GF is toast IMO). She also risked her own life taking the victims blood pressure and temperature a couple times. But she was also careful to wash her hands. If she survives she will be a lesson of how to deal with this if you don't have a hazmat suit.

Running up a bill. I’m sure he’s got insurance. Not.

There are unconfirmed reports that he puked on the plane.

The government denies this, of course, but the person who was sitting next to him reported it.

The game of Ebola Roulette continues...

*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin…BANG!

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

We’re gonna need

a bigger cart!

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Had not heard that. Speaking of puking on planes:

http://nypost.com/2014/10/04/sick-passenger-investigated-for-ebola-at-newark-airport/

I liked this part the best:
Better here than in Africa, noted Liberian native Joshua Brown, as he waited for friends at Gate 53.
“I’m not worried for them,” he told The Post. ‘Because they are coming from Africa, and America is a better place to be” if you have Ebola, he noted.
“All the people brought here are cured from Ebola but there they die. America is a great country.”

I don't know that it's true, but given the choice between trusting a random stranger or the obama administration, well,...

Accd. To the article, the x-husband of the gf said this was Duncan’s first trip to the US. He also reportedly quit his job abruptly. Sounds like he knew he was infected.

At one time I was a Stephen King fan. The stand was his best work followed by The Shining. After he got so commercial and started writing crap I quit reading his books. I thought after those 2 the rest were just crap.
