The fear of Ebola could have severe consequences, even if it isn't Ebola. At some point I can see some person going ballistic, literally, if he thinks he might be exposed to it, or if they are quarantined, etc. And what if it ends up that a hospital room, or area, or the entire place needs to be put on lock down for 1 day, 3 days, 21 days? "Okay - 21 days and were clear. You can open the doors again."

I would say we are about 5 quarantines short of societal break down. Or at least the beginnings of it.
