DALLAS In Washington, a patient who had traveled to Nigeria and who was suspected of having Ebola was placed in isolation at Howard University Hospital on Thursday. In New Haven, two Yale University graduate students plan to sequester themselves when they return this weekend from Liberia, where they have helped the government develop a system to track the Ebola epidemic.
And at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday, a sick man who had just arrived from Brussels was rushed to a hospital amid concerns that he was showing Ebola-like symptoms, a fear later dismissed by hospital officials.
With fears about Ebola widening across the United States, federal health officials said Saturday that they were receiving an escalating number of reports of possible Ebola infection.
In the more than 100 inquiries the C.D.C. has received about possible Ebola, about 15 people were actually tested for the virus, officials at the disease centers said. In addition to doing their own testing on suspected cases, federal officials have helped more than a dozen laboratories around the United States do Ebola testing.
Obama administration officials said they believe that screening of passengers in the affected countries in Africa, by taking their temperature and requesting information about their activities, is the best way to prevent the virus from spreading to the United States.

Wow, only 50 doctors. That's sad. I feel bad for those people. But we do need to ensure the safety of our own people; best done by blocking travel to the USA from those affected nations. Heck, some european countries are blocking travel, why shouldn't we. Our nation and our people are sending help, so we're not heartless. Too bad our Presidunce Obummer isn't protecting us.
We’ve got a active case of Ebola in Washington, DC. What will happen in this cesspool with the current bunch of clowns running the show? Even the brain dead liberals in the town will put it together, sooner or later, that the Ebola threat is real and it WILL kill them if they’re infected. When this reality sinks in, the Spam will hit the fan blades and be sprayed in all directions. There will be panic as these idiots think they can run away from Ebola and spread it to other uninfected areas of the country.
Here the article on that info....

perfect cartoon
"We Flemish tend to be rather unemotional, but it was at that point that I began to get really worried."
"I really never thought that it could get this bad."
"Even in 2014, we hardly have any way to combat this virus."
"And it is clear that the virus is mutating."
"... they died in their shacks and we couldn't do anything except let them die. In principle, it's still the same today. That is very depressing."
Many here would claim that they just know they would never do anything like try to get here to save their own skins - obviously have no idea of human nature and just assume that they would willingly forfeit their lives for "the common good". I don't know what I would do because I haven't had to make the decision.
Plus, how many times has one woke up feeling fine and developed a fever and symptoms of a cold/Flu by lunchtime? Huge gaping flaw in the "take their temperature and have them fill out a questionnaire" as a "prophylactic measure"...
