As I noted on an earlier thread regarding the patient in Dallas with Ebola, who had also traveled from Liberia, we’re likely to see many more health care tourists from that nation and others in west Africa. They’re being turned away from hospitals over there, and while most of the poor souls don’t have the wherewithal to spring for air fare to the USA, any who do will be draining their bank accounts, doing whatever they can to mask symptoms if they’re already appearing, and hopping on a plane with their load of pathogens. Once here, they’ll receive world-class care, courtesy of the US taxpayer.
It’s heartless, I know, but we need to slam the door on this immediately. It’s bad enough if they infect no one here, but we’ve already seen that even health care workers in west Africa, who presumably were following proper procedures, are being afflicted and dying. If we don’t slam the door quickly this could get out of hand in a matter of days.
If the guys lives we're going to be flooded.
The Mexicans have been doing this for years. If it's okay for them and not the West Africans you're racist!
