My Volvo has its “engine” light on, never thought a thing about it till emissions inspection time. Mechanic said anything newer than a ‘96 can’t be tested with the engine light on or it automatically fails. Wish it were a ‘95 :(
(on that score, don’t think VA is any better than MD)
