I'm a long-term Yes fan, and as you know - Rick Wakeman was with Strawbs before Yes. The song you posted is wonderful. There is so much music that is inspiring to me, but I thought Awaken was a decent choice for this thread. Many won't like it, but it's just what I like:
I’m also a Yes fan, and like Awaken very much. I like “mystical” music, and there is nothing more mystical than the last three minutes of Awaken. It’s what I think I’ll hear when I walk up to the Pearly Gates.
Same here. I seem to remember Wakeman explaining why he left Yes - he missed going out for some brews after gigs like he did with Strawbs.
