HOUSTON, Texas -- A Dallas paramedic claimed he drove the ambulance that the US Ebola patient was transported in and that he was not contacted by anyone about the potential exposure. He claims he drove the ambulance sometime after the patient was transported. The Dallas Fire Department left the ambulance that transported Ebola patient Thomas Duncan to the hospital in service for at least 48 hours before putting it in quarantine on Wednesday. The ambulance was exposed to the Ebola virus when Duncan was transported on September 28th. All the people in the back of the ambulance 48 hours later before they finally took the ambulance out of service, said Dallas Paramedic Geoffrey Aklinski in a discussion on Facebook, none of them have been contacted. None of the paramedics that were on that shift and went in the ambulance were contacted. Ive been off three days now. No one contacted me and I was in and drove that ambulance after it was infected.

Ok looks like by the picture we are screwed. I would put a barrier around it, let it dry and start a mini fire then wash away. Ugh
Exactly. I hope those whom have been at the front lines continue to speak out. The guy had to take care of himself and ask for an evaluation.
Indeed. Shop for Israeli Civilian gas masks with extra filter attachments. Good advice, FReeper!
Great use of our tax money. I feel so comforted and protected. /s
This is inexcusable.
The family says the man was vomiting everywhere outside their residence. So how many people walked on it, tracking it to places unknown (like into their car floor mats). Yuck.
yep
Gak!
When things go wrong in Texas, they go wrong in a big way....
Like parading around the assassin of a U.S. president for the cameras, only to have an assassin assassinate the assassin...
Gezzzz.
Why shouldn't they? Think of all the powers they'll get to wield.
Even in the workplace, people don’t cover their mouths when they cough, so just imagine how widespread a disease like this could get by the germs going outward...That character that Jack Nicholas plays in “as good as it gets” might be us pretty soon (using tissues to open doors, etc).
I agree
Take down of the ave. American.
The fear level goes up exponentially when it is the Obama administration.
Ping. Lots of scary stuff, including the pic of guys pressure washing the sidewalk where the guy vomited...
“Fundamental” transformation. The payback on America continues. Barry is either: incompetence on steroids or fulfilling his agenda.
I pressure wash around my home a couple times a year. My pants and shoes are a soggy mess afterwards, with the debris kicked up caking the lower part of my pants. Same for these guys, I would suspect the vomit debris got kicked up and spread around.
Lawyers are salivating over this.
Someone will own something before this is all over with. Or maybe their next of kin will own it. Either way.
Looks like the village girl at lower left is walking possibly barefoot, though the vomit...
Did they hire illegals to wash off the infected barf?
Political hacks keep crowing how “the system worked”. I seem to remember Janet Nap crowing about that with some terrorist and it wasn’t “the system” which stopped him. Flight 253

While I hope it makes more Americans aware of prepping and being individually prepared, I was really thinking of the authorities, agencies, the military, and the infrastructure of modern life, hospitals, first responders, homeless centers, transportation centers and airlines, schools, and so on.
A true dedicated biological attack would hit all at once in several places nationally and be designed to explode onto us instantly and spread as quickly as possible, now is the time to be working out the kinks and catching our flaws, and getting over our complacency.
To mention your point a second time, this is bound to be making millions of non-preppers realize that perhaps prepping for a few weeks of self protection and self-sufficiency isn’t so exotic an idea as they thought.
