Actually we don't know what the mortality rate is in the US, because supportive care is more advanced in the US. Of the patients who have come here so far, the mortality rate is 0%. Obviously that will rise, but I think you're wrong to assume it will rise over 50%.
Keep wishing and hoping... The level of treatment given to survivors has been approximating that of treatment in America - not a wet cloth applied to the brow...
You just don’t get it do you... Much of the care given in West Africa was of more than a sufficient level...and people still died ... I am sorry you don’t believe statistics that are published widely ... But while medical treatment in American can certainly be good ... it is not magical - people will still die at a high rate... Until there is a immunization that actually works - medical treatment will not cut the mortality rate in half or some other fanciful wish you may have... Talking about a death rate in American — I wish to point out to you the EPIDEMIC that can and may likely happen HAS NOT HAPPENED YET... Do all the wishful thinking you want ... Is this some politically motivate crap you are doing - to lessen the impact on obama’s dumb ass policies?
