Keeping secrets about this will only cause wider panic. Democracy depends on a well informed public, but our govt is convinced that it is better to lie and withhold informations..do you need a list?
To much information will lead to panic, a market sell off, and a march to hang the ones who allowed this happen. They don’t see this as a real threat.
If they can keep it contained in Texas (which is not “real” to many in the beltway) it will be considered a win and we should all shut up and sit down.
Once there is a case in New York, you will see the same people screaming to lock down all air traffic. You will see forced lock downs, mass evacuations, and wall to wall coverage on the press.
If they aren't at risk then why NOT release the information .
