One is too many. That said, I'm not overly concerned, in a nation of 300 million+, that there are approx 17 such incidents a year.
As far as I am concerned the FBI has lost its credibility.
“A new FBI report indicates that there is an ‘active shooter’ incident in this country now about once in every three weeks and nearly half of those incidents occur in malls, stores and other businesses.”
All the more reason for citizens to have the right to carry firearms anywhere they go. The alternatives are that those who break the law will have weapons anyway and that if only government has weapons we are even more at risk. Disaming the citizenry so only the government has arms is what this is all about anyway.
