Only when symptomatic are you contagious. Blood from nose, rash, vomit. Read about it. Add the word "very" and that would be correct. But asymptomatic people can transmit as well. E.g. months after recovery in sperm.

There have been many reports of asymptomatic patients infecting others.

Only when symptomatic are you contagious. That doesn't seem to be the case based on data from across the pond, although the infectious stage probably starts quite close to the symptomatic stage.

Supposedly a Nigerian nurse gave it to a patient before she showed any signs of having it. Most of what the news media is crap to keep panic at bay.
