That N95 mask won’t keep it out of your eyes (mucous membranes)

N95 or better masks

I got a cold starting last night. My two-year-old granddaughter caught a cold a few days ago, and she was miserable. Her nose stopped running yesterday, and the cold is tapering off. So I was on the couch babysitting while she was watching a cartoon on TV and her mom is in the kitchen, and I closed my eyes to doze off a few minutes. Opened my eyes to see her face a couple inches away breathing into my face "Wake up!". So much for being careful in not getting her germs in me, constantly washing my hands and avoiding touching my face or food. All it took was a few breaths into my nose and I caught it.

I have N95 masks, very efficient for paint and woodworking I do. While burning off paint with a heat gun, can't even smell any smoke. Try that with a simple mask, and you'll still smell smoke as it slips between the simple elastic mask and your face. N95 filters on a tight rubber mask is the what you need.
