I hear about the “race riots” of the sixties, and it seems resorting to violence has been part of that culture for awhile.

And Bill Ayers and friends were right there helping to stampede the herds. Just listen to Charlie Manson's plan to start race riots for his own ends.

Before the 60's - black and white cultures were surprisingly similar.

Upper class members of the black community were responsible adults with a strong work ethic and often 'God fearing'. Both black and white cultures looked down on the 'trash' among them - and the trash was the same - white trash sat around, did nothing, was semi-criminal and known for 'excuses'. It was exactly the same with black 'trash'.

Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks came out of earlier traditions and mentalities - both were elegant upper-class black citizens with high moral standards.

With the 60's and the advent of 'white liberal elites' ( the 'white' amoral by-product of the 1960's) the black community was turned on it's head. Almost overnight young men in their 20's - often radical and angry took over the culture.

In some ways it was necessary to get from "there" to "here", but the price has been high. And that's some of what this article deals with - it's actually pretty impressive.

The real conversation about race is staring... Patricia L. Dickson is a worthy voice in that discussion as is our own cripplecreek and many others...
