Twice in two days I have seen “Suspect” in news articles. What in the name of good judgement has overcome this nation? The asshole is the one who beheaded one woman, and stabbed another before being shot. Is the man who shot him also a suspect. Hell no,all of the media reported that he shot the beheader.

Pardon my language, but sometimes it is called for.

I hate it too.

Alleged drives me crazy.

I think it has something to do with due process.

I am reminded of a spoof MAD Magazine did years ago on labels for news items.

It showed a cartoon “photo” of an assassin pulling the trigger, a man being hit, and a word balloon over the scene with an arrow pointing at the shooter and titled...”Alleged Shooter”.

In the mews media you must be politically correct at all times. I once heard a news chick refer to a visitor to the USA from Africa as an “African-American from Africa”.
