what an aweful way to die, and a child at that. Sad and infuriating. Gang kingpins are cozy and safe in our prisons. If we put gangbangers in jail, we’re sending them to gang university. If we coddle them they multiply anyway. But I’m not sure if vigilantes are such a good idea either - how accurate is Average Joe Smith going to be at determining who is a gangbanger and who isn’t? And what if Shortbus Billy decides he wants to be a vigilante? Whole can of worms.
The vigilantes would be under the supervision of the gang force. They know the gangbangers.
