Well, my best friend and his family are evangelical, and he used to be a real high-motivation ‘rah-rah’ Republican up until very recent years. Now I think he distrusts the GOP even more than I do, and he keeps telling me he’s through with voting altogether.

When you have a 2012 Republican nominee who actually helped facilitate homo-marriage in his state when governor, you are going to lose social conservatives. I’m not an evangelical, but this played a big part in why Romney didn’t get my vote. Add Romney’s pathetic reaction to the Chick-Fil-A “buycott.” When questioned, he couldn’t even bring himself to come up with a pat statement commending people for standing up for their beliefs. Instead, it was a stuttering “uh, uh, that’s not part of my campaign.” My God, what a cowardly, spineless answer. Romney epitomizes the kind of politician I have nothing but utter contempt for. Absolutely loathesome.

My evangelical friend ‘did’ vote for Romney. But I have the strong sense from him and several others that this was indeed a final straw. Like something very deep was severed. Hard to really put in words.

If they had been given a palatable choice, they would have. I am tired of the people the GOP craps on being blamed for being tired of it.

I don’t know. I found out that some serious Church goers that I know voted for Obama. The term “Evangelical” really does not mean much in this day and age.

Just in my own small circle, several people I know couldn’t vote for a Mormon. Evangelicals really don’t trust Mormons. The R’s should have realized they would lose because of this.

McCain and Romney each received basically the same amount -- in the 59,900,000 range, depending on which results list one uses.

Obama LOST over 4,000,000: 2008=69,498,000 to 2012=64,005,000

I think it’s clear that electoral politics is analogous to chess.

People need to have thicker skin or turn off the news.

Allowing one to be manipulated by psyop propaganda designed to scare off those that won’t think their vote will matter is complicit, imho.

I just don’t understand why the our side can’t get their crap together...

I am as unhappy as a person can be with the Republican establishment. We do not share the same values, and they mock me for my beliefs. With that said, as I look around the state of the world, I am much, much more unhappy with what is going on. I have little or no hope that Republicans would be that much of an improvement, but at the end of the day, they are all we have. I probably will hold my nose and vote for RINOs this fall, but I will work to increase the conservative voice. What else can we do within this time frame?

2/3 of our state’s Democrat Party budget is now funded by homosexual action groups, so it is an easy choice which party to vote for here. Unfortunately, the Repubicans are pretty much extinct here, so it doesn’t really matter, those candidates chosen by the Democrat Party Central Committee are the ones that get in.

Romney = pro-choice, pro-sodomite, pro-amnesty. He did NOT earn my vote.

Gee, maybe it is time to give them a reason to vote then. Nah, that would take the stupid party being smart for a change.

Still, the establishment Repubs keep trying to foist candidates on us that we say openly, right up front, we won’t vote for.

Then complain because we didn’t vote for them.

We vote for people who reflect our beliefs. There are candidates, flawed though they might be, who share our beliefs. They’ll walk right past one of them to propose another McCain or Romney.

If the RINO Establishment would stop foisting left-wing ringers, maybe more Conservatives and devoutly religious folk would turn out to vote.

Those crazy moderates. If they win, evangelicals are to be ignored and had nothing to do with getting them elected to office. If they lose, it’s because not enough evangelicals voted for them. You’d think their dysfunctional little world revolved around some strange form of denial pertaining to evangelicals or something.

If there hadn’t been voter fraud and a stolen election, he wouldn’t be president.

A lot of purists refused to vote for the much-less-than-perfect Mormon Romney.

So we got the much-much-worse muslim 0 and are now seeing our way of life and liberties destroyed.

And there were FReepers who stayed home and let it happen.

QUICK! LET’S NOMINATE A SQUISHY DEMOCRAT-LITE! THAT’LL GET ALL THOSE SWING-VOTE MODERATES OUT FOR US!

Whaddya mean if given a choice between Democrat and Democrat-Lite that the American public always picks the Democrat?

STUPID EVANGELICALS/PURISTS/POOPYHEADS NOT VOTING FOR OUR DEMOCRAT-LITE CANDIDATE! YOU RUINED OUR PERFECT PLAN! WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A REPUBLICAN IN OFFICE AND WE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN CHARGE AND IMPLEMENTING ALL SORTS OF DEMOCRAT-LITE AGENDA ITEMS!

All of the above is sarcasm, in case somebody didn’t pick that up.

Also, I have a running bet with my oldest son that Jeb Bush will be the GOP nominee in 2016. Not that I want Jeb at all, just that the GOP is too busy trying to p*** off conservatives to field a winning candidate, and Jebtastic is the only viable candidate who could definitely lose against the Hildabeast.

What do conservatives have to vote for? Who stands for us?! F these people who try to blame Obama on us! WE ARE THE ONES WHO TRIED TO WARN THEM!

If ten percent more evangelicals had voted, the Democrat fraud machine would have had to work harder to fake the win. We need to get an overwhelming majority of conservatives to the polls in 2014 and in 2016 so that these elections are outside the margin of fraud.
