He was an “old style” type democrat. Patriotic but corrupt. However, he had a hell of a sense of humor. Today’s Democrats are not patriotic, corrupt to their cores and have zero sense of humor Their corruption makes James Trafficante an angelic choirboy by comparison.
I will miss Trafficante and thank him for the laughs he gave us. He paid with hard time in prison for his errors and thus is even.
If GOD has a sense of humor and I am sure he does, Trafficante will give him many laughs through eternity. However, I guess he will have to change his line from “Beam me up” to “Beam me down God.”
Didn’t Trafficant went after the IRS with vegance? Also he sided with President Reagan I believe. So that put him as a target from the rat party. Yes Jim may have been corrupt but he always sided with the American People. RIP JIM
