And I don’t want rabid anti-marajuana politicians. I’d rather have a guy in place that will honor the Constitution, rather than a guy that promised to kick down more doors, seeking to arrest and imprison more people for smoking a plant.
And I like to see someone in place that will end the unconstitutional practice of civil asset forfeiture.

""I'll show them the real science, and they just don't want to believe it because quite frankly, they want to smoke marijuana," Fleming said. "It's like if you're overweight. Who wants to cut back on eating when you enjoy eating? But it's still bad for your health."

Perhaps the good doctor would like to jail folks for selling cheeseburgers and fries?

Sure, but that is just like any other posturing. They really aren't rabidly anti-MJ, they are rabidly pro-state looking to expand federal power. Or if they are a local politician, then they are rabidly pro-state looking to expand local police power.

I would however commend any politician who says decriminalize pot for adults but not for kids. Where I live in rural Virginia pot is de facto decriminalized for kids. Stoner kids is not a good situation and that needs to be fixed.
