Worked late tonight, and the client handed me a plastic container with something in it.
When I got home and opened it, it was a complete turkey dinner with all the fixin’s.
I had myself a mini thanksgiving in front to the TV.

I had lunch with my old gang today down by the Mukilteo Ferry. One is a Republican operative, one is a former railroad man and regional representative of the National Federation of Independent Businessmen, and one is a noted academic and lecturer on the national parks who is a conservative Democrat. We're slowly converting him and turning him away from the dark side.
Today, in addition to discussing the election, we discussed my idea on how to privatize Amtrak and bring a consortium of businesses into the business of passenger rail in a pure profit-making mode without government involvement.
