Wow. I couldn't finish the article. It's just a White House press release, dressed up as "a White House source told me," as if getting their lame litany of excuses is some kind of inside scoop.

Reading between the lines, Holder has become a huge political liability in an already-disastrous year. There are only two reasons why anybody leaves in the middle of an administration—either you can't wait to escape from them, or they can't wait to get rid of you.
