Don't see how they get someone confirmed before the new Congress is seated. Republican Senators ought to lock down or blow up the Senate before letting Reid ram someone through. "We'll consider your replacement just as soon as you comply with our subpoenas." I expect we'll have a replacement Attorney General by April or so.
And the fanciful idea that Holder could ever again be confirmed to anything, much less the Supreme Court, after being in, and being found in, contempt of Congress is just bizarre.
