Oh I agree there are worse. But he is what he is and situational ethics are what they are. If we keep excusing open rino crap at every level, we may just as well get behind Romney now and embrace our inner liberal. Why lie to ourselves about what we are? If we are willing to bend over lets just admit it and move on together as open moderates.

Oh, I definately agree. Maybe I’m just not versed well enough in the extent of Roberts’ actual RINO-ism, as opposed to him just being a tired old career-politician who is distant from his state and his constituents. Who also demonstrated both cluelessness and selfishness by not passing the torch and retiring.

I can ‘slightly’ forgive that level of doddering entitlement, if there’s truly a top-notch voting record behind it, and no other viable alternative. What I refuse to forgive are an slimey RINO’s who profess conservatism yet go back to DC, and constantly side with the agendas of the corrupt elites, and behind-the-scenes do everything they can to kneecap the grassroots. Generally, I’ve observed Roberts being more of the former than the latter. But I’m not a Kansan, and I could be totally wrong with this observation. I’m entirely open to hear examples of where Roberts may have a more negative track-record than I’m aware of.
