I don't see the shooting as malicious but more a case of nerves maybe for both of them.

Jumpy and trigger happy are not qualities I think make for a good police officer. But that's what so many of these smaller forces seem to get these days. The officer in this case was probably making about $18 an hour. For the Ferguson police officer it was probably less than that. You don't get the sharpest tools in the shed for money like that.

Agreed you don’t get the sharpest tools, plus I can tell you when I was a kid I was often on the wrong side of things with LE I think from what I saw even the most patient cop would be come jaded from seeing the crap side of life they see everyday.
