You would think a pretty good lawsuit for tortious interference with contractual relations could be filed on this.
“You would think a pretty good lawsuit for tortious interference with contractual relations could be filed on this.”
You would/might think, but I return to a little known but time-proven principle: The law does not enforce itself. The only person with standing to file such a suit would be Rush himself, or perhaps his network. He has probably not suffered any detectable damage from this effort, so he could not demonstrate much in terms of actual damages.
It’s equally imaginable that a serious conspiracy lawsuit could be filed...but such a suit would cost millions to launch and pursue, and these parasites even taken in total probably do not have the assets to pay for a judgement, even if one is achieved, and that is by no means a certainly, I don’t care how pat the evidence may seem.
Lawsuits are for losers. Most lawsuits that get to the litigation stage settle when the parties see how much freaking money they are bleeding and just want it to stop. If it’s a corporation or company protecting corporate assets, that is one thing. If it’s a person, spending their own money, it is a highway that leads to a predictable outcome in 95% of cases: “Get me out”.
