Journalists who cover the White House say Obamas press aides have demanded and received changes in press-pool reports before the reports have been disseminated to other journalists. They say the White House has used its unusual role as the distributor of the reports as leverage to steer coverage in a more favorable direction.

For a laugh— The Washington compost,NY Slimes-
All seem to be cutting back on staff...!
Maybe this is a way of NOT sending reporters to sit
in the white house..HELL they do not need reporters-
The DEMON rats will just send over what ever “Newzz”
lies they want to be printed - and they can lay off
some more FAKE reporters.
It was the brother of cbs news head that changed the story about Benghazi. No one at the cbs has yet asked where obama and clinton were on 9/11 when the battle was going on.
They know obama is on his way out so they are pretending to care about the censorship. It is my belief that all the news media such as cbs, nbc, abc and the liberal newspapers are getting taxpayer money from the democrats after it is laundered to help run their companies.
So much for transparency. When will the “free press” wake up to find they too are being controlled. What a bunch of dumb asses!
So the government controls the press. No surprise there.
The Wash-Poo itself has submitted to the censorship by the Obama Administration. it was cited an article posted yesterday.
There is no surprise in this among their ranks. They are only now feeling more comfortable weighing in.
Don’t start this.
You don’t need to create a ping list to continue your trolling, if you want to argue, then go back to the thread where you are having the conversation.
Fox News is just as bad. There is so little actual journalism going on there compared to the gum wagging that goes from 2PM onward as perceived from the left coast.
They’ve already been caught altering news (by FR). There is so much we should be hearing about that we don’t.
There is still huge room in the market for someone to come down and say, “here’s the news, without the politics,” and just let it rain down on both sides.
If it isn’t apparent that the entire business model in DC is pretty close to over, it ought to be.
Just seeing if you’d care to add two cents. Don’t hijack this thread.
Don’t start stalking and harassing people and turning your trolling into a site wide activity dragging it from thread to thread.
During the GW Bush era, there was a press conference (either by the Pentagon or Sec. of State) where the government official (or press secretary for said official) asked something along the lines "why don't you print any positive stories about our efforts in Iraq?"
I think it was a Washington Post reporter (but I could be wrong on that) who replied, "because we aren't your propagandists."
I'll see if I can find the presser I was thinking of...
