How does allowing in tens of millions of illegals reduce carbon, pollution or reduced demands on water ?

A very important and good point. The Sierra Club went through this issue, in a way, over a decade ago when asked to weigh in on how immigration (probably illegal and legal) was the primary driver of rapid population growth in the U.S., and how this put pressure on resources and wilderness preservation. In the end the Sierra Club decided that holding the left’s party line on immigration was more important than any impact of immigration on the environment.
Of course, it has alway been fake. Illegals are only pulling more resources. More general construction, more roads, more hospitals, more schools, more food production, more textiles, more water, more gas, more everything. There is more and more traffic on the back roads here every week. I was stuck in a line waiting on a signal light out at the edge of town today. There has never been more than a couple cars but today there was a long line and the people behind me had to wait through the next light. Ridiculous. And they're now saying another wave of "unaccompanied children" (cough) are on their way.
