"We" don't bug out. The Democrats bug out.

When we stay it works.

Bush's plan was to allow a residual force to stay and act as a buffer against Iran and a rapid reaction force if anything went wrong in Afganistan. Obama blew that hugely and now we will suffer the consequences.

There is a vast difference in the policies of the 2 parties and those who want the Democrats to continue to control the committees in Congress will be contributing to the downfall of the country.

Unfortunately, “we” must include Democrats because the rest of us are unable to exclude them from being CIC and most Gope Republicans are not any better, Bush, for instance. He won a great victory then frittered it away trying to civilize Moslems.

There is only one way that Bush would have made a real difference in the ME. That is if he had colonized the oil in Iraq, not compensating the Moslems a penny, and ignored the rest of the country. The other enemy wannabes in the ME and Saudi Arabia would have taken notice and reacted accordingly for their own survival. That’s how Moslems have done for 14 centuries. But he was a Compassionate Republican, the only kind we have now that can get anywhere in Washington and who are indistinguishable in their effects from Democrats.
