I got two wells as the result of a complicated business deal of land for cows for grain for oil. When they were originally drilled in the sixty's the land owner demanded that he be paid in “silver coin of the realm”. That was later amended but he died with a butt load of silver coins that went to his heirs. Made dividing the family fortune pretty easy.
