“It’s not a toy and it’s not for kids. The school has no way of knowing where it came from, how it was emptied, or whether it’s been tampered with in some half-assed attempt at reloading. In other words, it’s still potentially dangerous to other students, and that is most definitely the school’s business and their responsibility.”

Raising the BS flag here. Been a shooter since I was four years old. Not bringing ammo/guns/knives/bows/arrows/slingshots et cetera to school is a recent development. Like in my lifetime. A fired shell casing, as that obviously is, especially from a blank shell, which again that obviously is, is NOT A WEAPON. Obviously not tampered with, as well. Get yourself educated on the subject, or keep your opinion to your ignorant self would be my advice. Cure your ignorance, then maybe you might have something useful to say.

Old Student, who is getting really riled at ignorant people trying to tell the rest of us how to behave.

That is exactly what I accused him of promoting in post #76.

Put yourself in the school’s place: they probably weren’t gun experts and had know way of knowing that,...

You are arguing that the lowest level of knowledge and intelligence should set the rules of conduct for us all. Very Progressive!

He made the case for that in post after post.
