What q wonderful respectful gesture to the military member and his/her family.
Thank you for doing that even if it meant you had to dress up.:)
I still have a very vivid memory - I was standing at attention and a family member approached me....and he said something like “I know you cant speak but I just want to say thank you”.
It made me realize how important it was to the families.
