On this much I agree. This is a matter of ignorant morons running the public schools and mindlessly adhering to policies that excuse them from the act of thinking. So-called 'zero tolerance' policies are for idiots who can't be trusted to make informed and mature decisions. It speaks poorly about your judgment of your own capabilities that you'd promote reliance on such policies over the utilization of sound judgment.
