Seems like there was a listener (male), a few years back, that said his dad would record Rush back then (on a reel to reel recorder?) and they’d listen to it together at night, in the old man’s shop/garage.

Yeah that’s possible. A lot of hoops to jump through for a 16 year old and get her homework done every night.
