Where are the California Marches On Draught? If marching changes the weather in the universe, why don’t people march for white Christmases, or no snow in April? There could be a It’s Too Damn Hot In the South in August March.

Haha! I was this exact smart*ss liberal when I was younger. Another member of Students for Environmental Action and I went to our local grocery store, and asked to speak to the manager. He invited us in to his office, we harangued him with questions and suggestions about what his store was doing or should be doing to save the environment, and he listened patiently. When we were through, it was his turn:
“There’s more to this than that. Did you guys drive here?”
Smart*ss Two and I looked dumbly at each other, busted.
