True... and this is really a gimmick meant to not just permit, but push pot. It’s unseemly. I think they already know that if they want to BUY pot, it is now possible. That should be quite sufficient for someone with a laissez-faire attitude on pot.
Once someone receives some commodity for “free,” it sets an unwritten precedent, at least in attitude, that there is an “entitlement” going forward. It pushes that mindset, no matter how small incrementally, that if what is receive “free” was indeed free, why can’t it be received “free” in all cases?
This why FDR welfare is so pernicious. Now, it is seen as a constitutional “right.”
