Can Ah finish? Will you let me finish?
I have been posting this thread for 15 years.
I have never let you down in all that time except once or twice due to extreme illness or an emergency.
I always post at 7:00 AM Central Time. This morning I was 21 minutes late.
I hope you will not post on that other thread from today.
I do go through some bit of work to find the guest list and format it to post, along with the ping list, and other info.
Thank God you took the mantle. I would not have been nearly as reliable.
No problem.
Appreciate your doing this, and always enjoy your and others commentary
I was doing it before you arrived, but not as reliably.
Alas, cheers, here-here, and huzzah! You are the best!
Sometime in the future there will be an edition of the collected works of AB ...something like the Federalist Papers.
Ah! So my potential competition honed your razor edge!
Delighted to be of service! :)
Thinking of it, it just came to me how old we’re getting...
What would have become of our lives without the Internet and Free Republic?
Personally, I might have married, had children, bought a house, stuff like that. LOL
“Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread” is a wonderful FreeRepublic tradition... you’ve done a classy job with it. You’re valued Alas Babylon - even if we forget to tell you sometimes - or forgot all the time...
Lordy, the new panel on Meet the Press that just lurks in the background of interviews is bizarre. And Chuck Todd is so awkward on camera.
Having the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread posted on the following Tuesday in the Sports forum with the television schedule for QVC might have been a bit confusing,
I don’t believe tomguy was trying to compete, but rather trying to help.
How do we like Todd, so far ?
He recognizes and shines light on the slimy politics of D.C. much better than Gregory, who ignored Dem underhandedness and duplicity. Todd's liberal roots are still there, of course, as evidenced by the hit piece on lower taxes in Kansas.
