A former Marine Corps Commandant told an audience that President Obama’s strategy to defeat Islamic State militants doesn’t have a “snowball’s chance in hell” of succeeding.
Speaking at a conference in Washington, General James Conway, who served as the 34th Commandant of the Marine Crops at the end of the Bush administration and beginning of the Obama administration, said that he was skeptical that the U.S. had reliable ground forces in Iraq, the Daily Caller reported Friday.
In June, Gen. Conway blasted the White House over the controversial prisoner swap of five terrorism suspects for alleged deserter Bowe Bergdahl.

Obama does not intend for it to succeed.
He’s playing politics for the masses at home, covering for the fact he, himself orchestrated, armed, empowered and funded ISIS to do what it is doing.
Orchestrating the overthrow of the secular dictators in the Middle East in order for the Caliphate to be established.

Correct, but I think for a different reason than your reason. Everything obama has done has enured to the benefit of muslim. He gave his first speech to the arabs. His white house has been opened to the brotherhood. He has spoken up at all times for the muslims and never for the Christians or Jews. He has appointed a muslim to head of CIA, and a Black Muslim in Holder at DOJ. His last remarks, "Now let's get 2 things straight.......ISIL is not islamic."
By his fruits it is reasonable to believe he is a muslim. This is why, I believe, he, as a military genius, has developed a strategy to do pin-prick attacks, and will continue until he leaves office.
But I could be wrong.

Play should be 1) get rid of Obama, 2) put another in charge who will listen to the Generals (Mittens?) 3) declare war on IS, 4) rally the whole nation to defeat this enemy even if it means a return to draft, rationing, defence factories,nuke weapons, a 14 million man army—a 700 ship navy, and a return to patriotism.

I believe Obama sees himself as a messianic figure preparing the way for what he intends to come. I know many muslims view him as the John-The Baptist for their coming Mahdi/Imam.
By his fruits he is not only aiding and abetting Jihadism for the sake of overthrowing what existed in power when he took office, but he is doing so likewise in this country.
I would not be a bit surprised if he turns out to be the biblical Man of Sin spoken of in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Not saying he is, but I would not be surprised, for he indeed is lawless and deceitful.

Course, iffen you unnerstan’ what he uz a tryin’ to do to begin with you know he’s a big success at that.
I got to meet Gen Conway ( briefly!) once . A VERY impressive individual. I think he would make a great national leader . He would sort out these problems with radical islam in short order and also listen to his wise advisers on domestic affairs . He is skilled in energy policy . As a top tier officer , I think he learned long ago to put the right people in the right places and then know that he can trust their support . Unlike the current situation....
