I read some newspaper account that had comments afterwards and someone wrote in that they’d had close calls with this rider before.
The only time I ever came close to losing my life in NYC was from a messenger on a bike zippng in and out of traffic at top speed on Lexington Avenue.
Righto - they don't look for people. Now a long time ago [1935 or so] when I was a kid walking in Central Park we were only worried about the horses on the bridal path. It would be racist to mention the gangs.
