After declaring war on the Tea Party and often showing nothing but contempt for grassroots conservatives that powered Republicans to record gains in the 2010 midterm elections, Karl Rove whined that the GOP may not take back the Senate this year because of the lack of enthusiasm for his establishment-approved candidates.
Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Rove notes that even though Obama's "job approval numbers are lousy, no Democrat in a competitive Senate race polls regularly above 50%, GOP enthusiasm is high, and independents are trending Republican... each passing day provides evidence as to why a GOP Senate majority is still in doubt."
After declaring war on conservatives and the Tea Party last year, Rove now realizes that the very voters the establishment trashed are not donating to more moderate and establishment Senate candidates in states like North Carolina and Colorado. Rove says that "Republican candidates and groups must step up" to reduce the fundraising gap with Democrats. He said "Republicans must reach a certain sufficiency of advertising in the next six weeks" to "tip the needle in the GOP's direction."

Don’t all of you know that you’re supposed to vote for whomever Rove says you’re supposed to vote for?
Since their candidates act like democrats, they want us to act and vote like democrats.
FUKR
Those four names tell me we are so screwed.
I agree the candidate in NC is boring / milquetoast...who was actually even competitive with him that Rove had “declared war” on, though? I don’t recall us having anyone else in mind for Colorado and I remember many expressing relief that Gardner had finally made the decision to jump into the race. Not sure why those states would be singled out.
In any event, Rove seems to have a lot of money from somewhere - try making some ads that actually are effective, Karl, instead of just taking up space on the airwaves. In 2010, the ads from Crossroads and Crossroads GPS were on point. Since then - 2012 election cycles onward - they’re completely unmemorable, boring, and ineffective.
I voted for both AND I voted for neither according to the twisted "logic" of the GOP-E ruling class surrender monkeys.
If my refusal to vote for your spineless Demonrat candidate in GOP drag displeases you because you may pay higher taxes, toooooo baaaaad. I would count that a good thing and justice. Generations of soldiers (None in Romney's direct family line) fought and died to give each and every one of us the right to vote as we individually please whether the GOP lapdogs and perfumed pampered princes, like it or not.
I shall vote for the candidate I deem in MY judgment to be best for the USA. In 2012, for the first time since I first voted, I cast a non-Republican POTUS vote and it was not for Obozo. I shall NEVER vote for an Establishment GOP whore again as I did for Nixon, Ford (PU!), Bush the Elder, Robert "Tax Collector for the Welfare State" Dole or John McCain ever again! If the GOP wants my vote, it will have to nominate candidates worth voting on their own merits. No more "But he's not Obozo!" If the GOP continues to nominate the trash that it has nominated for sooooo long other than Ronaldus Maximus and, maybe, Bush the Younger, it will die as did the Federalists and the Whigs before it. Cause of death? Greed as is traditional.
No more waiting! No more excuses! No more pie in the sky, bye and bye, while the GOP obeys every order of the US Chamber of Crony Socialism! It is over.
The RINOs of the GOP-E will gladly hand SCOTUS to the leftists. Each of the following Justices was actually NOMINATED by the GOP presidents and certainly supported by “GOP” Senate creatures: Earl Warren, William Brennan (a Demonrat himself named by Ike), Potter Pro Abort Stewart, Herod Blackmun, Clueless Lewis Powell, John Paul Stevens, Sandra Day O’Connor, David “Swish” Souter. I could argue for other GOP-nominated tragedies as well. The point is that a GOP majority of low quality (as is so often the case) will not save any SCOTUS nominations, any babies, any marriages, any guns, etc., etc.
Not one dime...not a second of time. The gop-e can take a leap.
Rove is a wanker. He hates the tea party & conservatives & only wants ‘em to vote for rinos during the general election. Take a hike, Karl, take a hike!
Sorry. Don’t work that way anymore. Ask fatbody just why that is. YOU do NOT own my vote. The lesser evil is not gonna get it anymore. Ideals and principles rule.
If, or when, push comes to shove, I’ll be around to clean up your mess, but know that it will be YOUR mess, for voting Rove and company.
