Shawn Donovan, director of the Office of Management and Budget, said on Friday that if you dont believe in climate change and support federal spending to fight it, you believe the earth is flat.
The failure to invest in climate solutions and climate preparedness doesnt get you membership in a fiscal conservatives caucus, Donovan said at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. It makes you a member of the Flat Earth Society.

Name calling again?...yawn...
Actually I believe endorsing Climate Change makes you a member of "the Naked Emperor's sycophants."
And believing in it makes you a member of the Peter Puffer Society.
Or finances. Why is someone with a degree in architecture a budget director. No wonder our finances ate what they are.
When you don’t have the facts, abuse your opponent;
when you don’t have the law, issue an executive order.
When you don’t have the facts or law, you’re a Democrat.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Shut up! No one cares what you think...
Donnovan: STFU and GTFO
Just one more Obama/Harvard A-hole. Do we have climate change? Of course we do. The climate of this planet has been ever-changing since the day the Earth was created. Sometimes temps have been rising for a period of time. Other times, temps have been falling for a period of time. All one has to do is look at the records since the recording of temps began.
If not believing that the illegitimate use of climate change for left wing political reasons makes me a member of the Flat Earth Society, then I am glad to join. How much are the annual membership dues?
It was “settled” science at the time.
its the other way around"
That what I've always thought !
Not me. I just don’t believe my vehicle can change the weather.
But you can drive away from weather if you need to. :>} Oddly enough, I drove my Ram Hemi yesterday and now they’re forecasting 50% rain chance today. Coincidence?
Has anyone asked his views on GLBT "superiority and superior rights?"
Sounds like a poofter to me.
With the usual accompanying brain deficit.
It has been said that formal education is simply preparation for the actual life learning experience that matters as productive adults.
That observation has served me well.
As a teenager I read voraciously, in parallel to my formal education. I read, among many other books about "weird" subjects,
Worlds in Collision
The Antedeluvian World, Donnely
The official Book of the Flat Earth Society (can't recall its name.)
The Hollow Earth
Books describing the history and details of every ancient archeological monumental site, e.g. Machu Pichu, the Pyramids of Egypt, Angor Wat, Easter Island, Stonehenge, etc., in addition to the less controversial but equally fascinating "Forbidden Archeology" by Michael Cremo.
I may be wrong, but I bet Mr. Donovan has not educated himself about the ideas he criticizes, and if he did, doesn't have the intellectual and educational tools to judge what is historically and scientifically tenable, and what isn't.
No one knows everything about everything, but none of us have enough experience to know what we don't know, and refrain from "better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt..."
It's amazing how many posters are oblivious that failing to think of it makes their posts useless, and specially frustrating.
A refreshing change.
I don’t know if this donovan idiot is a meteorologist or earth scientist of some sort, but I do know that he doesn’t understand science. The guy is such a loon. If is painful to see that he has a position of responsibility and authority. The fraud should be fired immediately.
I guess we won’t have to climb or slide anymore.
“Daddy, tell me the story about the fools that went to the Antarctic to prove Global Warming was true and they got stuck in the ice and it cost us billions of dollars to rescue them”.
“And you said the other day that the Arctic Ice Flow is the thickest it has been since they started keeping those records”.
“Daddy, I know you must be lying to me about Global Warming because you mentioned Acid Rain when you were young and the coming Ice Age”
“And Grandpa used to tell us about people being afraid California was going to fall into the sea making Nevada the ‘West Coast’”.
Doesn’t anybody want to tell me the truth?
