The history of the world is people moving from a bad situation into a better one. Like all our ancestors who left bad situations in other places to come to this country. While I have sympathy for people in bad circumstances, it only goes so far.
If you're healthy and have the right attitude, you can improve your situation. No sympathy for people who whine about their lot in life without doing anything about it.

I’m with you except sometimes bad means “WW II bad”. And I’m a student of biblical prophesy. I believe we are on the cusp of the “big one”. Frankly, if we continue improving, within a hundred years we won’t even be human anymore. I figure the key to immortality is but a decade or few off, if they haven’t figured it out already. And that is not a good thing.
