The polls may suggest Republicans will see gains in this November’s elections, but former Democratic strategist Bob Beckel thinks they shouldn’t get too comfortable. The Five co-host mysteriously signaled Democrats have something up their sleeve.
“I’ll tell you: I would expect an October surprise,” Beckel said on Thursday. “I think I know what is — I’m not going to say it, but I think I know what it is — and it is going to shake things up, and it has to do with national security.”
Beckel’s secrecy comes as President Obama faces perhaps the most significant foreign-policy challenge of his presidency, the growing threat of the Islamic State.
He was incoherent. He also said that Derek Jeter spread STDs. The only reason I watch that show is so I won’t miss it when Fatso finally strokes out.
Is Beckel saying that the Dems will use some real or imagined national security crisis as an election tool?
At this point, it would need to be one heckuva surprise - hugh and series - if it’s going to save the D’s butts. I mean, cmon now - even Bob Beauprez, who everyone said couldn’t win against Hickenlooper here in CO for Gov., is trending 10 points ahead.

Such an attempt may kill a lot of Americans, but I would be surprised if it worked if they are foolish enough to go with that area for their October Surprise. Obama? National security? That would boost conservatives in all 57 states. I have a lot of worries about this election, including massive fraud, but national security boosting the party of limp wrists is NOT one of them!
It could be the Liberal promise of 1000 dollars a month for life as long as you vote Democrat and sign up by age 15.
