It's not about supporting any particular sport, it's just that talking about any sport (or a subject like domestic violence) for over 90% of each show isn't why we tuned into Rush years ago in the first place.
I have nothing against the NFL, just Rush talking about the NFL (or other non-political subjects) for the vast majority of each show, day after day, week after week...
At the end of each of Rush's shows, listeners should ask themselves: What percentage of today's show did Rush discuss football, domestic violence, that the media hates the NFL, politics, etc. Second question: Did I learn anything new and important from Rush today?
I've been a Rush fan since March 1991. For the first time ever, it shocks me that I'm turning Rush's show off more and more these days... :-(
