Is this a reflection of how little true genius there is nowadays? Is there no one in medicine researching cures for life-threatening diseases? Maybe the MacArthur Foundation should take a hiatus from awarding grants until they find some real geniuses, instead of just giving them to people doing politically correct work.
I think the MacArthur Foundation is old Rockefeller money, so PC it is.
Maybe the Nobel people should think of doing the same.
